Shredded clutch - NOT MINE (Read 70 times)

Posts: 451 Plano, TX	Shredded clutch - NOT MINE 03/20/14 at 11:27:54 I found this on youtube, and I thought it was interesting. What do you suppose ACTUALLY caused his clutch to do this? Why was it slipping in the first place? My initial guess would be he was using the wrong oil. Thoughts? http://youtu.be/UmzGblbeDuU

Stuff is designed to work w/in certain limits.
Redesign that stuff and you might find out what those limits are.
It would've been better if he had learned to adjust the clutch so it didn't slip.

I have a 50k and a 35k Savage in my driveway, and the original clutches are fine...

The throwout can die & cause a hassle, but they dont slip unless theyve got the wrong oil or are adjusted wrong.
