Sad day for me.

Looks likeI just joined the FSO crowd.I sold my '86 that originally brought me to this site back around '08   :'(  .BUT.....I'm not leaving. There WILL be another Savage on the build table, soon. This winter hit me hard.I really didn't want to sell it,more had to.But with some of the money I will be putting my....DARE I SAY IT.....old Harley Shovelhead back together.I told the new owner about the site.Maybe we will see him.

My Harley.

I do technically still have an '87

Glad you'll stick around.  You always have to have something to work on and keep you occupied.   Wink

What's that cute little number with the king and queen seat?  Is that a late 70's/early 80's Honda cb650 or 750? Smiley

"You ride a single cylinder motorcycle??"

"When you're good, one is all you need." Wink

I guess that means I'm no good anymore; I've got 4 more cylinders! '08 Yamaha FJR1300 and still '01 Savage

800 Intruder?

Is your Shovel an FL based or FX based build? I've got a nice Paughco 4.75 gallon single bung FX Mustang tank hanging in the forge building...

Buddy of mine has an old 800 intruder (late 80's or early 90's not sure), but the dang thing just won't die...

He has kept it out on his back porch here in florida for the last 25yrs and its oxidized/rusted/cracked, the only thing he has done to it is change the oil, maybe one battery and redone the seats.

Every time I see it, I shake my head, poor bike.... but it still keeps tickin', starter sounds god awful but still turns it over.

Yep.It's a '95 800.The HD is an aftermarket frame.Started life as a '79 FX Lowrider.Put a newer style FL Wideglide front on it with a 21" front wheel.Rake is out to 38 degrees. The tank is a Mustang 4.2.I bought the dual cap because I actually sunk my ignition switch under the left cap.
