Question on dust covers for shift lever
03/13/14 at 17:52:28
2006 S40 . There is small tears in the rubber dust covers at the front and rear of the shift lever. Part #'s COVER,DUST
25526-47000 # 33 and and COVER,DUST 25526-47000 #37 which I assume are the same. Can these cover be replaced fairly easy? Do they come off of the rocker thing that attaches to the lever easy? How can you remove the rocker from the ball end that is on the shift lever that the dust covers cover? Are the dust covers important enough top replace or can it be left alone? HELP!! S40 guy.
