another tire question Pirelli MT66

I've been considering some Pirelli MT66 tires for my S40 to replace the original tires.  I would have to go with 140/90 in the back but with longer shocks I have plenty of clearance.  They are priced around $110 and I can get free shipping.

Has anyone used these tires?

I have Pirelli Sport Demons on my Cafe' bike.  They seem to be round, I have never lost control yet...wet or dry, they appear to be wearing good and I expect they will last 3-4 years.

Motorycle Superstore is a great place to go to read the reviews, even if you don't buy the tires from them.  The Pirelli MT66 tires have good reports:

I have Pirellis MT66, rear is a 140/90x15, front 100/90x19, do a good job, 1st quality tire maker, not your chinese import.
AND
I can lean all I want without feeling the front drifting from under me  Wink

Thanks everyone for the comments.  I trust your opinions much more than the published customer "reviews" the vendors have on their sites.  So I ordered the tires along with new inner tubes and I won't go riding until the new tires are installed (we still have snow on the ground anyway).  I am looking forward to some handling improvements.  My old IRCs are in pretty bad shape after about 4500 miles.

The reviews on Motorcycle Superstore seem to be pretty good and representative of the product.  You can't trust the reviews that were made a few days after the installation - but some of the reviews are long term and maybe even the 2nd or 3rd set of the same tire.  Not all tires get good reviews.

Yep, I've been using them for about 7,000 miles...I'm light (150lbs) but they still ahve a ton of tread left and just seem to get better with age...like me...lol!

I have them on my '96. First bike, bought it last year, put them on about 1000 miles after I bought it.

Smoothed the ride out a LOT, but I have no idea how old the others were.

I have very little motorcycle exp., but they are round, black and seem to stick pretty well for a newb!

The factory tire that came on my 09 went 5,500 miles. I replaced it with the 140/90 MT66  the bike now was 14,900 miles and the rear tire still looks nearly new.
