Does a starter relay contian oil ?  I know  !  I need a manual ,but I think my relay blew .

2009 red w/white,emgo short vintage style muffler , carb spacer mod. 2 washers. raptor petcock, 4" uni pod filter and 50.pilot, 150 main .

No, but they do stick
try wrapping on the fender below the ig switch.

The Savage one isn't model specific. Take the big white boat across the funny tasting puddle, hit up "roached out pieces of monkey s**t", er, Bent Bike, $35 for a new universal type versus $90 or better from the stealership.

FYI, they almost never fail on these bikes. But the decompression solenoid relay... 3 years and counting on that particular work around... got so bored I redesigned the whole bike.

Thanks , seems to work now but I have to play a bit with the switch (button) . Do those wear out ?

Yes, but more likely it just needs a good cleaning. Pencil eraser like you used to do for slot cars and model railroads.

Yup... Contacts get dirty... switch or relay...
Just take apart and clean them...

Relay's are often sealed, but can be  taken apart with some fiddling... inside looks a lot like old fashioned ignition, contact points.... can't usually get a pencil eraser in those... use a piece of emery cloth and a little wd-40 or rubbing alcohol...

Like they said, clean the contacts in the handlebar switch. I found a bugs had gotten jammed up in mine.

Before you start into that switch, sweep up the work area. Then lay towels around. Theres some little stuff in there,, go slow, have good lite,
