Go to the top of the Rubber Side Down page, go to the Stickey for Bike Builds, and look through the builds.  Just about every Cafe' conversion and most of the Bobber projects have manual decompression levers of some kind.

RYCA sells a simple thumb lever and a more complicated foot lever, and a fellow in the Marketplace on this Forum was making and selling the Tnumb levers as well.

In my bike build thread "ThumpinSpecial" I made a handlebar mounted lever using a BMX bicycle brake lever.

Have you looked at any of the bike builds?

Or you can to to the RYCA site and watch their videos or download their instructions.

When people go to the manual decompression.....it is because they want to remove the automatic one.   Most often it is because they no longer have room under the fuel tank for the solenoid. Why would you install a manual decompression and leave the automatic stuff in place?
