Front brake assembly
02/08/14 at 12:53:10

Just changed my pads. Clearance for the brake disk is ok, but as I assembly  the pack it seems that whole brake package is a little too much outside. Disk is sort of taking contact to brake housing.

Did not remember to a photo when removing the bolts, but there seems to be a spacer. Should I but it whichside of Front fork?Outside on inside? I have the spare part pics, but in those front fork and brake housing are in different drawing, so cannot determine how to make assembly.

Would appreciate help.

A photo would help...

All the pictures I've seen show both washers to the outside.
But if you need to fine tune the fit a bit, I've done one on the inside.

Also, if you took the front wheel off you may have possibly put the wheel spacers on the wrong sides which will cause your rotor to drag because it is in the wrong place laterally.

So I placed the washer n. 18 on other side and it seems to line up correctly.
but while testing, I noticed that after pressing the lever, the brake gets stuck... So seems that I have to open it once more and also get bolts 7 and 9 out. I suppose bearing grease is suitable as a lube.
