No deal. Way too much $$$. You only want one muffler.,not enough pipe to plumb a volkswagen,.You otta be able to get a muffler for about $20.00. Call some shops,

Yup,.. I'll pay up to $20 for one, or $30 for a pair... but, they should look brand new...
Those look kinda' ratty for $100...
They do look like the right muffs though...(assuming that's some weird shield on the top one?)...

I recently bought a pair. One had p/n 65844-95A, the other was p/n 65747-94.

Any way, I paid $45 for the "pair", free shipping. I think the 65747-94 is correct, does anyone know if the 65844-95A will work?

Also, what clamps do I need for this? Will the original clamp work?

Thanks everyone. I thought they were pricey too.  Just wanted to make sure in case the price starts dropping.  Wink

T-clamps

http://us.yhs4.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?hspart=mcafee&hsimp=yhs-01&type=mc...

In Longview I can get them at an industrial bearing supply house.

Paying Over the Counter prices at a bike shop is gonna be a bit tuff, Id bet,,Hit the Yellow Pages & see what ya can find,, or, maybe some bike shop with used mufflers layin around will cut ya some slack on a T clamp,.,Just knowing the right name for them is a good start,,

Cheapskates? Nah, I've worked for cheapskates before. It's full of old guys with a bike habit and no money... there's a difference!

I ordered one for $30 with shipping.  It looked pretty good on ebay, but we'll see?

If you want a DYNA muffler....try posting a free "WANTED" ad on Craigslist in the motorcycle section.  I got a pair with only 1,000 mile on them and in great shape.  The owner bought it own aftermarket mufflers and I bought his take offs.  I had another fellow respond and he had a stack of them for $ 15 each.

There are plenty of DYNA mufflers sitting on shelves just waiting for you.

Just do an Ebay search with

Harley Davidson muffler 65747-94

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-Davidson-OEM-mufflers-for-FXD-94-and-later-PN-...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAIR-HARLEY-DAVIDSON-MUFFLERS-65747-94-SLIP-ON-USED-/...

I know they are not "free shipping" but if you make the a bid on the one for $8 or $9 dollars you could get away with $25 for the pair

Or bid $16 or $18 on the other set and get away with about $35 for the pair

I just kept looking until I got a set for $30 with free shipping... I have an extra...but that is going to be for my savage after I sell the Harley  Grin Grin

That is a Sportster exhaust. Probably Screamin' Eagle slip ons. I sold the mufflers off of my 2007 Dyna Street Bob for 20 bucks. Top one was perfect with 4k miles, bottom one was rashed from me taking corners too hard but looked new from the top.
