Re: Bike's going into the shop Reply #4 - 01/10/14 at 22:56:22 Been a coupla guy have the "shop" do their oil change & they put the filter in bakkerds, blowing a hole in the oil filter cover & 100% ruining the motor..

I rode my last LS650 around for a couple of months before I discovered that I had installed my oil filter backwards during the last oil change ... stupid mistake as I had done MANY oil changes on the LS before, but a pal was hangin' out that day and our conversation must've distracted me somehow and I inadvertantly put the filter in backwards!

Anyhoo, like I said I rode around for a couple of months beore I discovered my faux pas ... Bike never blew up and didn't seem to mind my mistake Embarrassed

Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, just surrounded by arseholes!
