Never too old to ride.

I hope that I never need something like this - however I keep thinking that if I do......I would want to make my own vehicle.

Something with a Honda 50 - 90cc motor, nice suspension, something with some range and ability to handle walking trails.  Something that could go for a long ride if necessary.  Most stores would have electric vehicles you could borrow while at the store - so it would be for outdoor use only.  Something far more stable and with larger wheels and tires than those tippy electric things.  I suppose a lawn tractor without a mower deck would be the easiest approach - but they are too slow and make too much noise....they are geared for doing work - not for travel.
