Wiseco used to offer one.....but they don't stock it anymore. Most of the retailers that sold it have run out of stock......I believe the last one bought online was by forum member Paulmarshall. According to Lancer they will still make the 97mm for him on special order....but he has to get an order for something like 10 of them before they will tool up and make them.
I installed the 95mm and am very happy with it. The limited air flow of the head, exhaust, carb, cam, etc. on the Savage engine will only provide a limited amount of airflow.....so the 97mm will be using up the available airflow at a lower rpm than than the 95 will be. The 97mm will be making a bit more torque available at lower rpms....but will run out of air a tad sooner than the 95mm will be and it may affect your top end speed.
I also figured that by using the 95mm I had the ability to screw up a cylinder twice and still be able to use my cylinder to bore out to 96mmand then 97mm if need be.

Going as big as you can isn't really worth it...
The performance gains come mostly from increased compression due to the piston shape, rather than the physical size...

Yea.....When I dropped off the Wiseco piston at Boretech - I told them that my "Male Enhancement Product" had arrived!
So Lancer.....You getting a waiting list for a 97mm bulk order together?

Nope. Wiseco may not be making the 97 without a bulk order, but Wossner does.
As a bonus, the Wossner comes with a piston skirt treatment.
