Steve ,can you reprogram your own key on a GM if you have 1 good key? Also whats the best way to get hardened tree sap off the hood? Thanks!

Here's the tutorial for the GM key.  http://www.ehow.com/how_5029209_program-chevy-transponder-chip-key.html  The keys are available as blanks on ebay for under $20. You'll have to get someone who makes keys to cut it for you. Then, follow the tutorial to program it.

Yes,,,, they did the one for my f150 and it works... just gotta mess with it a little, in / out / in / out twist, repeat... kinka makin' love to it, but it works.
