Just a couple of questions.

They were sold out of the battery tender jr so I picked up this solar panel battery maintainer instead, is this suitable?

secondly, the ryca exhaust adapter I got doesn't fit all the way up to the stop as seen in this photo. The new harley muffler I got fits about half an inch away from the stop, which is actually about 1.5 inches closer than the old harley muffler it's replacing.

To make the Ryca exhaust adapter fit the header pipe must be trimmed where it mates with the adapter. Look at the Ryca build instruction documents on Goggle Docs (http://www.rycamotors.com/ryca_documents.html). See page 16 of http://www.rycamotors.com/instructional/assembly_guides/RycaCS-1AssemblyGuide.... I used a Dremel cut-off wheel.

I was trying to tighten the adapter onto the header pipe but the clamp and bolt just bent without really tightening the adapter to the header. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Battery tender/ryca exhaust adapter Reply #3 - 11/29/13 at 09:36:59 I used a 4 &1/2 " cut off,, & I shot Sparks down by the Battery Vent tube,, Do Not DOOOO Thayut,, The Battery makes Hydrogen Gas, the sparks make that gas explode & the battery will squirt acid around inside your motorcycles guts..So Be Careful,,
