Manifold bolts
11/28/13 at 08:55:45

I'm putting her back together after putting on the Versy adjuster and was staring at the exhaust manifold bolts. They came out with only a little fuss but I'm not sure they're really designed for multiple uses.

What's the group think? Reuse or replace? And when I put which ever ones back should I lock ease or high temp lube?

I"ve reused them for 30k miles...
Get them clean, use anti-seize, and don't over-tighten...
I check them for snug at every oil change...
...( you might consider a new exhaust gasket... they compress upon multiple reuses)...
(I have an old compressed one and a newer one on at the same time for more squish)...  Grin...
