All that said,, I can report that having a concussion or 3 & being knocked out 9 or 10 times yielded no sudden onset skills for me,, maybe I just need to slam my head against the wall some more,

The last big wack that I got on my head made me a bit like Carl Sagan.

Yep, Ive had the solar system a wheelin about in there a few times, Occasionally Ive had the pleasure of doin a bit of bird watchin at the same time,, Ive had one concussion that was so serious I would cry over nothing. For 3 days I was an emotional wreck, & my hand /eye stuff wasnt good either. I used to fly U-control planes, 60 foot wires, .35 engine, turning an 8 inch prop, makin .8 h/p,, they were pretty fast, but I could fly patterns & upside down. I was pretty danged good, I took my plane out on the second day,, & Stuffed it in the ground,, no idea what I did wrong,,
& Ive been knocked out 9 or 10 times,, some resulted in mild concussions,
None resulted in any sudden abilities,. dangitt!
