So after extensive research I found that blue collar bobber has their avon coke bottle grips special made to fit the suzuki savage so if anyone was ever wondering how to make the coke bottle grips work there ya go just give them a call they will sell them separate without the kit.

That's crazy so the throttle fits inside the switch housing? Do you have a link to the right ones cause I ordered a pair and they didn't work

I'm planning to get a set of the checkered rubber Avon grips for my Savage. But, I use a Panhead era throttle housing, not the stock mess. Current grips are HD made, chrome and black rubber bar style, with built in throttle cable attachment. Work great.



Old set. Lasted 7 years. Takes a CB750/KZ900-1000 throttle cable and accepts HD style grips with permanent throttle sleeve as well. You can still buy them new, but they are up to $30 plus shipping these days, I paid $15 for mine.
