If you mean the handlebars have a dimple to locate the controls and switches, then no, it does not matter. You can use them without a problem. If you are using factory levers and switches the dimpled bars actually work best.

Thank you for the response I feel much better now I ran the wires through the dimple and front brake perch I just wasn't sure like it just seems as if the perch doesn't clasp down directly to the bars there's a little gap as if the bars ain't round or something but it clamps tight so I guess it's ok

You are correct, the dimpled bars are slightly oval where the dimples were pressed in. If everything is tight enough to stay in place, you'll be fine. I ground out the housings to fit when I had a set of dimpled bars... don't do that, as you would need to drill the fittings and bars and use a screw to hold them in place if you switch bars again.
As far as your other parts issue... you should have ordered replacement grip covers, not full set with throttle tube. Mr Luckys has a good assortment of replacement rubber. And I successfully ran a replacement throttle sleeve in the stock housing for years. You need the die cast throttle tube if you are using the stock control box.

has the throttle assembly I used to run in the stock housing. I now use the throttle clamp with a set of HD grips. Cable has to be custom made, the stock one will NOT work with this housing.
