It is one of the big three in Spanish Trials bikes during the 60s and 70s.  The other two were Bultaco and Ossa.  They were all very good bikes at what they were designed for-trials riding.  None of them were screamers or road racers, but those that rode them, loved them.  Of course, Bultaco owners had to have a lot of tools.

Nice bike, albeit a little hanky-panked.

No front fender etc.
(what is it with you guys, why no front fender? You know a rock may shoot from the front tire and bang a hole in the sump?)

The bike pictured looks more like a vaguely modified enduro.

Spanish bikes (Bultaco, Elmeca, Montesa and Ossa) were known for their ruggedness and low compression ratio, which allowed for good low-down torque even from a small 2stroke single,
unlike Italian and Austrian enduros which were very high compression, high revving  screamers)

Incidentally, these bikes also made for very interesting amateur clubman racers  Cool

I'd like to have a new one .    Light weight , nimble , 2 cycle power , and one cylinger tork ... sounds like a fun bike !
