You really see that "birthing position" in Arnie's pic... His knees look like they're nearly in his chest...
Comfy?.... Huh...

To be honest...

I tried a 20 y.o. Harley FXR ... the best chassis HD ever built, so they claim...

Then I tried a 15 y.o. Softail Heritage... the most comfortable Harley ever built, so they say...

Then I tried an Centenary FLT... the epitomy of a Harley, so they say...

They all had the same issue, floorboards much too forward and high for my (short) legs, and it's not possible to adjust them...
...nor the brake and gear lever positions (so they say...)

At the end of the day, the Savage still is more comfortable and has a better riding position...  Cool

Now, to fix that contoured wooden plank I have for a seat (the foam is... 25 y.o. ...  Tongue )
