We have 1" bars.. any controls for 1" bars will work... but, wiring and cable routing and connections is not simple...
The question is, is the finished result worth all the effort?...

... what result are you trying to get?... are you looking to make some control work different, or be in a different place?...

I'm really just wanting a different look most likely all black and why is the cable routing and connections and wiring not a simple task and yes I feel the effort will be worth it?

I'm wanting all black and all black steel cables.

It would be a lot easier just to take your controls and paint them black.  The electrical controls on your bike aren't available in any other form but silver.  It would also be far cheaper.

Good luck with your project. Mine has a total wiring delete of anything higher than the headlight bucket. Yep, no bar switches. Deep into year 3 of the teardown and rewire, thanks to the less than stellar design of a few critical factory parts.

Oh, mine also happens to have a front drum conversion, so I need that style of levers and perches. Won't use standard Pan/Shovel era HD bits for those, so my choices are very limited. The side mount 7 inch headlight, the rear bullet lens signals and the tombstone tail light don't make it any easier... And just try to ind a traditional single cable complete package throttle assembly not made in China Taiwan Korea these days...

Careful what you wish for, these things tend to snowball as projects.

It is not impossible to change controls......it is not easy or cheap.

On my Cafe' conversion I did not think the stock cruiser controls looked correct.  The throttle ended up beign a Magura enduro throttle, the front brake is a Honda TRX 400 EX master cylinder, the clutch lever is GSXR600/750 from 2001, the right electric contril is a KLR5650, the left electric control is GSCR1000.  I had to take the wiring harnesses apart and splice the wires together to make the stock connectors work.  It was a real wiring challenge......it turned out fine....but I did wonder if I had the ability to pull it off!
