I'm in NY too and bought my 96 at a dealer a few years back for 1800. Bone stock with zero issues.

In July I bought a 06 with 4100 miles on it for 2 Grand even.  That is here in southern WV.  After some accessories, little minor maintenance no modding...yet.  And two new tires I have this:
