First Ride

My youngest's first ride. Harrison was super excited. He's wearing his older brothers gear, it fits him surprisingly well.
Thats my wife on her bike by the way, not me.

I bought a helmet for my 7 year old granddaughter last summer. We went for a few short rides and she seemed to enjoy it. So then this past summer she really wantedd to ride so we logged quite a few miles. Did a couple charity rides. One was for a little girl with cancer and we rode to the NH fishercats basball stadium and watched the game. We also got to ride our bikes on the field for the National Anthem. Next summer should be fun.
Here's a pic of Alexis standing next to my bike before the game

Turned 8 at the end of August. His older brother is very put out, he was 9 before going on a bike. Did have to remind him I didn't have 2 wheels when he first rode at 8, I had a Trike

Just bought a second childs helmet so we are all going away for a night at the end of the month. Down to Waitomo caves-about an hour away- and probably camp if I can get all the gear on the 2 bikes. Most of the kids stuff - ie sleeping bags - just isn't bike friendly in size.
