This is a letter my son sent to me about my grandson. He's in kindergarten "A little girl in Michael's class told him that if he kissed her she would do his morning work for him, so he did...LOL.  The teacher saw it and he got in trouble... she sent a note home asking us to inform him that he cannot kiss girls at school.  I think I'm going to frame !"        Thank goodness he doesn't take after me!!!!

Tell your grandson not to let that girl get away.  Most girls would have told him " If you do MY morning work for ME, I'll LET you kiss me."  This one sounds like a keeper. Grin

Not to worry Serowbot, there's millions who've never married. The child is lucky he isn't in Mainland China where there are twenty million surplus young men . Thanks to a stupid policy of parents wanting their one child to be a boy

Toesnose, when you are alone at night coughing blood, when you have had a crap day, when nasty nuts and bolts strip threads and unsupported parts fall into obscure engine spaces, when obstreperous mongrels demean and decry you, when there's no one to twitch the engine on the chain block a quarter of an inch. Then you see the downside of living alone.

Oh yeah... umm I see now:

Me: "honey can you come out to the garage and help me a second?
Wife: Sure!
Wife: wait am I gonna get dirty doing this? I just had my nails done, will I break a nail.
Me: No, you have the easy part, I just cant do both.
Me: Ok I am going to be under the engine block lining it up with bell housing, I want you to pull on the chain to release it.. then when I get it in position, you re-lock it in place by flipping this lever.. got it?
Wife: ok
Me: ok, pull it just enough to release it.
Wife: OK like that?
Wife: oh.. wait I have to go stir the beans, or they will burn.... poof.
CRUNCH

But yeah.. I am a wimpy patient... wives are the best nurses!

My aunt likes to tell the story about how my uncle had her holding the compession tester tightly in the cylinder of his antique car while he turned it over.....unfortunately her forearm was touching the loose spark plug wire! Shocked

He does not dare ask for any further help from her.  When he is in the garage.....it is the same as living alone for him!
