140 Mile Ride Today - LOTS OF PICS!!!

The wife and I decided to go a Coffee Shop called Jittery Joe's in Athens, GA. It's about 60 miles from our house. We left at 8:30AM and we took the two lane country roads route to get there.

It's a nice ride thru some small country towns and the speeds are anywhere from 25MPH to 65MPH. It was a cool morning so the ride was really nice. Plus at that time in the morning, there is hardly any traffic so it is nice easy ride. Jittery Joe's has some great coffee and has a loyal following. We had a few cups of strong coffee and bought some beans to bring home and grind for future consumption.

When we left Athens, we went a route we hadn't ridden before and ended up in Madison, GA at an awesome car show. There were more nice vintage cars in 3 blocks then I had ever seen before. As you can see, I really love old red pickup trucks and SS Camaro's! I took ton's of pics since I just got a new camera. I only wish the hoods would have been down so I could have gotten clean pics.

Sweet pics! I always kinda laugh at the guys that line up their late model muscle car with the vintage stuff... That '07 Shelby is nice enough, but it should not be in the same lineup as that Judge. There's a regular cruise night around me that my family and I go to pretty frequently, and the late model stuff is relegated to the nosebleeds around the outer edge of the park.

I agree. I "think" it was an open to all type event. I think the fact he had all the trophies around it was a bit insecure. My wife liked it though... Wink

Me - I love old - EPA be darned, We don't need no stinkin' Catalytic converters, and Cams lumpier than 4 day old mashed potatoes Muscle Cars. I heard a few of them and an American V8 sounds like no other!
