Gender:	broken throttle cable 09/09/13 at 12:17:28 i was changing the handle bars on my 2004 ls650 today. i was getting tired of the buckhorns. i noticed my throttle cable is hanging by a thread. i have been looking for a couple hours and im not finding a replacement. mostly i just find " universal" cables. anybody know where i can get a good replacement. i need to go try my new handlebars.

Local or online dealer (Ron Ayers, Bike Bandit, etc.).....or Lancer. Our bike is probably too limited production to get an aftermarket part.....you need to go factory stuff.

Someday I will be old......But not today!

Gender:	Re: broken throttle cable Reply #4 - 09/09/13 at 13:49:34 well it turns out bike bandit is on back order. i called ron ayers and they had to order it. $28 dollars with shipping. 7 to 10 buisiness days to my door. problem solved. i guess it will be awhile before i get to try out my new bars.
