$850 no title? needs a little work? looks pretty dusty. I'd get the vin number off of it and give it to the local police to see if its stolen, and if its not make a reasonable offer for a non-running bike, $300-500

Ya'know, that motorcycle has been de-badged. How would someone unfamiliar with the model know what it is? Maybe the owner has only heard the model referenced verbally and mis-heard the name? Its a wonder he didn't hear the model name as pileocrap.

I can't find anywhere where Suzuki made a Savage (or Sabbage) in 1984.
Guess he got the year wrong too.

Sounds like the ideal ride for Elmer Fudd when he is hunting wabbit.
Good hunting

This made me chuckle a lot more than it should have.
Maybe the '84 Sabbage is the predecessor to the Savage? lol

"You ride a single cylinder motorcycle??"
"When you're good, one is all you need."
I guess that means I'm no good anymore; I've got 4 more cylinders! '08 Yamaha FJR1300 and still '01 Savage

I've heard it referred to as a "Cabbage"...
When I hear that,.. I just want to flog them with a wet lettuce...
...That's an English joke... We "flog with wet lettuce's" over there...
...
Just too close to a cabbage to pass up...

It looks a lot like the mine when I bought it. But I gave $500 and it had a title. Better off to wait and find a decent one for $1700 or $1800. When you have to buy tires, a starter, a master cyclinder, and assorted other small parts you can spend $1000 pretty quick.
