You'll get in the big leagues eventually...
My Savage was 2 weeks old when it went in for the 600 miles service, with 1200 miles or so on it. And that was the last time it was ever in a dealership work bay. To date it only has between 21 and 22K miles on it, I try to have a bigger bike and use the Savage as mainly a toy/trainer.
My 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 800A saw 44K miles in 18 months, and was only ridden in 2 counties in WA state.
My 2005 only saw around 8K in 3 months of winter use... Then the steering head bearings failed, I crashed and got rid of the bike.
New job starts Tuesday. Number one priority after catching up a bunch of bills is buying another VN800A. I kept my conversion full rear fender, my customized tool roll and saddlebags, and the 800A seat for the Savage has a Mustang brand studded seat cover (with mods by me).
I'll keep the Savage around for backup duties. For fun riding and commuting, I need something that can get out of its own way. And since I remember the modifications that let the Vulcan clear 100 mph at less than 1/2 throttle...
