I've been looking on ebay but the folks there put her part number as both a gen 1 and gen 2 phone.... so i'm unsure which one to order.

Old Rider just email me the model # off the back of the iPhone "A1435" or what ever it is that starts with A, I'll look up exactly which generation and what parts you need. Is it just the glass/digi that is broken? Is the LCD display working and completely unharmed, no lines or waves or blemishes on it? With Most iPhones you'll want to replace the screen as a combo/single unit because separating the digi from the LCD usually causes the LCD to get FUBARed Huh
