These bikes are too cheap & simple to justify paying for maintenance.

It's true. But, this is first oil change after I bought the bike, never did it before. Not to much experience in mechanics either (but eager to learn and I started to playing with a friend of mine who has a LOT of experience with bikes but doesn't have much of time Sad ). There is 2-3 hours ride this Saturday I plan to attend and I don't have time to change oil by myself, and with potential issues with the bike (http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1377055548)
But I definitely plan to learn about my bike and do by myself as much as I can.

BUT... If you have a link with idiot-proof video how to change oil and filter on S40, sparkplug, petcock... I would really appreciate it.

Well you can continue....but not in the Technical Section.  That area is for Technical articles and How To......not for questions.

I have moved your thread to the Rubber Side Down.

I meant it as recommendation from experienced members to newbies what brand (is best) to use for parts, but you know better.
