Wife and I used cobra walkie talkies with the earpiece/mic. Worked well when it worked, keeping the buttons from activating was difficult.

Cardo Scala rider here.  My wife and I use them all the time when we're riding.  Good comms, blue tooth capable, and long battery life.  I recommend them.

My parents and younger brother use them.  He got a cheap set.  They work well in their full face helmets so long as you're not at highway speed.  Fairly decent range, too.

"You ride a single cylinder motorcycle??"

"When you're good, one is all you need." Wink

I guess that means I'm no good anymore; I've got 4 more cylinders! '08 Yamaha FJR1300 and still '01 Savage
