Thanks a lot to all of you. Nice feedback. I hav read about classic racer build with 100 hp on the wheel, but I do not know? I might try with mikuni. Its hitachi carbs on the old Viragos 81-83 - THoswe models are the best suited for cafe style becauce of 18 back wheel and mono damper.  Heres one more movie with some details. I have used AISI 316 Bends and tubes for the parts.

Did you do all the welding we saw under the seat? If so, be forewarned,, I hate you..Smiley

Were you humming to try to keep from grunting & groaning getting up & down? If I woulda done that, there woulda been a lot more background noise,,

Thanks a lot. Sorry for all the humming.  Grin Yes I have done most of the welding myself. However, my friend did the excellent weld under the seat. It is fun and easy to weld in stainless. I find it much easyer than black steel. THe secret is to use as much current you dare and let it flow. Like a paint job. Welding tubes is best downhill, and between 13 and 15 "on the clock". -Lower chance for making holes. It is important to stop when the conditions gets to hot to prevent collapse/holes. I seldom use recommended current, unless I have big holes or big gaps i want to close. Or very thin material.
