How do you remove the grips? (Read 93 times)

That's out of the way now, so any help would be appreciated. I have an owner's manual and a service manual, but they weren't any help. Is there a trick to it? I have a 95 Savage.

Almost literally,.. The end caps are just glued straight in... pry them off,... then dribble a little rubbing alcohol under the grips and they'll slip right off.. ...

Reply #6 - 08/10/13 at 08:10:03 I use method#1 x3 and you don't need to make a tool, you already have them... they're called phillips screwdrivers. jamb one in work it around as shown now jamb 2 more in spaced around the grip grab the whole thing and twist it off.
