The carb needle and seat, and drain screw will flow slower....but you should be able to drain 8 oz of gas in 15 seconds.

This might confirm if you are getting fuel to the float bowl.

The tank vent problem is easy to identify......open the cap and see if th engine runs normal. If you close the cap you will be able to ride several miles before enough of a vacuum builds up to cause a problem....the vacuum does not happen instantly.

I'll do the drain screw method too.

So you don't think it's the vaccum in the tank?

Well got the cap off easily (wasn't even properly sealed.. Wonder if I got the wrong sealant). Put a small screw in there like you did. Got a fresh cap filled with superglue and put it on the port.

Now it started and stayed!

But died shortly after. Sounded like the rpm was very low.. So I adjusted the screw on the (what it looks like the throttle/carb thing) to make the idle higher.. Good or bad?

Do not set the idle too low (like a harley)...it should have the same rythym as a drum from a death metal band...

So I pulled over in a fit of rage to find out I didn't turn the fuel on whew. The idle sounds pretty close to the audio but can't really tell. It won't let me upload the video but will there be any harm if the rpm is little higher than that sound clip?
