If someone asks you why you support the Second Amendment, tell them about the incredible story of how one firearm saved two lives in Texas.

An armed husband shot 2 gunmen who robbed a bank and kidnapped him and wife.

He killed one assailant, seriously wounded another, and called the police to mop up the mess, reports Fox News.

Columbus County Sheriff’s Sgt., Andrew Weido, told local media that two armed men abducted a husband and local woman who they knew worked at National Bank Eagle River.

The villains took the couple from their home and forced the wife to withdraw an unreleased amount of money from the bank. Bank robbers forced the kidnapped couple to drive their own truck as a getaway vehicle.

Little did the robbers realize that the husband kept a gun in his truck!

As his wife was driving away from the crime scene, the husband, whose name has not been released by police, drew his weapon, killed one robber, and wounded the other

AP, reuters, etc etc pick up and feed everything into national and local news ... they also do a verification ...

As in ... 4 people fit in a truck ?
The man keeps gun in truck ...

Yes it is, by the NRA ...

Reuters and associated press post accident reports ... and of the plane that was transported through charlotte couple years ago. They pull and feed everything that the news sites then relay.

News sites and papers lean left or right ... the right ones obviously are controlled by the republicans and the left ones obviously by democrap.
Being picked up by a news feed = its verified genuine ... else it could be made up or be missing key elements that make it non news..

NC man dies while tubing in Cherokee County

Posted: Wednesday, Aug. 07, 2013

BLACKSBURG, S.C. A Charlotte, N.C., man has drowned while tubing with his family in Cherokee County.

Coroner Dennis Fowler says 46-year-old Timothy Scott Pendleton was pronounced dead at the scene just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Fowler says Pendleton was tubing in the Broad River when he felt off in water that was about eight feet deep. Fowler says Pendleton's relatives brought him to shore, called 911 and started CPR.

An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday.

Maybe the robbers were 90 yr old women ... and the guy that shot em was 25 ... he could have blow on them hard and they have keeled over ...

Sri my truck is 4 door and it holds 5. Whens the last time you saw a 2 door truck, they're dinosaurs. The liberal media doesn't want you to know guns save lives. If you were breaking into my house and I shot you it wouldn't go past local news, a small article in the local newspaper. I'm not a member of the NRA because I despise Ted Nugent. He'a a very self centered lying SOB and a poor example for responsible gun owners. But the NRA magazine is the only place that prints these kind of stories.

Bot was this story connected with Faux news. I got the story from a different source. Sometimes I watch Faux to know what the opposition thinks but I'm in no way a regular.I used to watch a lot of MSNBC but all I hear every night was Trayvon Martin and I got tired of it. Now its CNN and what I pick up on the internet, friends and this forum. I don't know if anyone keeps statistics on how many murders of people being attacked prevented their own murder, I would love to see them if they exist.
