I love the idea of fitting my scooter w/ a one up only pad, but not if it looks like this.....goodness, it dwarfs the rest of the bike

No worse than the Buddy Seat on an Electraglide, or the Chummy Seat on an Indian Chief Roadmaster.
If I was still out there, I'd buy it. Having a later model stocker as a back up is never a bad idea.

I saw a couple seats like that at the swap meet last weekend. They're some sort of harley seat. I remember thinking that thing would be humongous on the savage. The were selling them for $50.
