Personally,.. I'm not in favor of that freedom...
Open carry,... and especially open carry of military assault rifles are not something I want see...
I know lots of people here disagree,.. but, hey,.. it's what I think...
I just don't feel freer with that right...
I don't want to have to ride a bus, with eyes constantly trained on this nut, and be tensed to pounce on his a$$ if he goes postal...
That ain't freedom... and you know, you'd all be doing the same thing on that bus...
If you wouldn't,... then, your carrying a gun for protection is a waste of time...
This is no way to live...

This is a complex issue and have been really thinking this over before I posted anything. The roots of all this seem to be in the breakdown of society, which some would say is done on purpose but I am not going there. People like the guy on the bus feel the need to flex their civil rights, why, because they are threatened with infringement.

So, why the infringement? The social pressures that used to exit that keep people orderly have greatly waned. The nuts that go into the theater, schools and malls are not constrained any longer. Is it video games? Movies? Toxic Foods? Dwindling mental health options? People who used to intervene are not there for some reason.

Education has gone straight down the $hitter as the unions have taken over and blacks are warehoused in a state of perpetual poverty and moral decay. Hispanics are next on the list of those to be warehoused for the sake of getting votes. Violence is how they get by.

So the slippery slope has come full circle where we have stolen the futures of a population segment by providing a politically correct and equally worthless education, locked them onto a welfare plantation with no escape and when they act out with violence the ruling class puts limits on the rest of us instead.

While unnerving, preventing the guy on the bus in Tucson from carrying an AR-15 to where ever he's going does not fix the real problem, or the source of the problem, which is the social and moral destruction of a class of people for political gain.

It's the Marxism, Socialism and Liberalism that is at the core of all this. The idea that the Constitution is a "living" document and how whatever Justice Ginsberg doesn't like is considered unconstitutional is at the core of all this.

But I would add that the guy on the bus isn't what makes us resemble Afganistan, it's the government corruption and cronyism that is decaying society into that which resembles Afganistan. Be very mindful of why they open carry machineguns and RPGs there, it's tribal and corrupt.
