Just remember, its a Torque motor, you can shift up at pretty low speeds as long as youre not trying to accelerate hard. Lower RPM, loafing along saves on gas, BUT, in traffic, at low speed, Im usually in a low enough gear that will allow me to gas it & go w/o needing to downshift. Im just more comfortable if I know I can cram the gas to it if I need to,,
