My new bobber project
07/17/13 at 04:42:59
Hey yall,
recently purchased a incomplete bobber project from a member on here (Epeck).
Ive already put many things in the works,
built an air intake
straight piped and wrapped exhaust
I drop off the wheels for black powder-coat today
Whhite wall shinkos are on order (should be here this week)
last night i ordered bunch of parts for ebay:

^^ really wanted the wood grips, i'm going to sand them down and stain it to match the solid-walnut seat.
here is how i recieved the bike (seat not mounted)

Honestly.... its loud, no doubt. But it sounds good, realy love the sound of the thumpers opened up.
Also has a nice rumble at lower rpms so you can keep it quiet if you wan to baby it through a neigborhood or something.

it runs great, however i have trouble getting over 75mph, i think i might be running too lean, but i never had the bike that fast before modifiying the exhaust so i dont know if that's what caused it or not.
