It's been 45 years since I rode it and my memories are probably very biased, but I remember it as being tonnes of fun, and a bit scary (and shaky) at 70 mph. It didn't have a counterbalancer, so It vibrated something awful.
It is the reason why I went back to a big single
And if I could ever find another I would be tempted to re-mortgage the house to buy it.
And thanks Serow, I had already found that illustration, but a photo proves that they still exist.... somewhere.

You checked out the ones that are being made now ?
They have real front brakes !
I'd have one now but they are geared to top out at 85 or so , and the rear sprocket is made into the rear hub thingie
But I love the way they look !

Yea the new ones are an entirely different beast, in 2009 they reengineered the entire engine which is now a UCE design. They are daily drivers with occasional wrenching compared to the old Bullets which were drivers only if you were wrenching LOL.

Too shiny, the fenders and tank need a good acid etching and a proper painting.
