From second hand experience,... the rectifier wiring changed,... sometime around 90', 95'...
What I know...
3 yellow wires from the stator,... don't matter which is which, go to the rectifier...
2 other wires come up from the the left side case are pick-up for the ignition trigger... they go to a separate connector to trigger spark...

Screw the connector... and just use single, bullet connectors to hook up what to what...
If you keep the bike long enough,... it'll end up that way anyway...
