Hi.

I've been riding Savage since last autumn without any problems, but that time is over and my bike doesn't work anymore.
On the first day it started to sporadically loose ignition under load (when accelerating) but i returned from trip without problems. The second day i sat on bike and tried to start it but it produced only few sparks and it was all over. Now there's no spark at all.
I checked as it is described in clymer :
- signal generator (resistance is normal)
- coil (both resitances are ok)
- spark plug
I also checked wiring, fuses, switches. It all seems fine, the starter cranks the engine well.
Seems to me like ignitor is the problem, i looked inside to see if it's burned or something but it looks fine. Could the coil or signal generator be faulty despite the fact that their resistances are ok ?

Let's assume you have a good battery, or that you have the Savage hooked up to a good battery (in a car maybe) with jumper cables.

If you pull out the sparkplug, plug it in to the sparkplug lead, ground the plug to the head, and hit the starter button, do you see any spark?

i never have one running while connecting, i connect & start the donor vehicle
are you saying dont start the car?

Bypass the clutch and sidestand cut-outs 

i've already did that a while ago, when I had problem with starter not working. But this time starter works..

I tried connecting extra 12v battery, checked spark plug outside engine, i used few other plugs but none has given spark. Spark plug wire seems to fit tight but i'll check it again.

Main clue for me is the fact that the day before it started to loose ignition at full throttle, like the spark wasn't strong enough. I assume that if the signal generator was faulty it would be independent from engine load, only the engine speed would affect that.

I can't tell from your list of the things that you tested, but have you tried a NEW spark plug?
