For what it's worth, you can download the exact same thing directly from Adobe.

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/

However, "Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software. The serial numbers below should only be used by customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products."

Just FYI.

Oh, and it's CS2, not exactly cutting edge these days.  You might actually get a larger feature set with something like Gimp or Paint.NET.

I once had a legitimate copy of PaintShopPro 4, unfotunately that OLD PC crashed and I have the old HDD somewhere...

I tried downloading the "same name" PSP4 from Corel's website, it's an entirely different animal...  Tongue

I have PS CS2 on a few Win7 boxes. It works fine. For someone who wants more than Photoscape (great free software, by the way), it works great. I hated Gimp. Had an intense dislike for Paint.net, but that was a while ago. I will probably try it again. I have Paintshop Pro 9 from when it was still Jasc. Corel bought them and destroyed it. Most of my work that is shot with the "real" cameras is done in RAW and I have Nikon Capture NX2 for the heavy lifting. Touchups and JPEGs from my P&S are typically done in PSE10. I am no fan of PSE10 but my employer bought it so I use it.

I've used PSP from v6 until the XI that I currently have installed, Corel really did a number on it but I've still preferred it to Photoshop mostly because of the price.  To be honest though, I do the vast majority of my photo editing in Lightroom.  I'd really like to have a legitimate copy of PS CS5 or CS6, but can't justify the price for the little bit that I would actually use it.

Gimp is great, but the interface takes some getting used to... I've always ended up giving up on it because the toolbars don't dock and it drives me crazy.
