So its been pretty wet to do much ridin',  but mailman called last night and I needed an adventure which he almost always provides.

The challenge, ride my zuki two towns over ( about 35 miles) and park at his newly acquired storage unit. Ride with him to yet another town, split up and each of us bring back a car to said storage units.  Simple.

So I hop on the local interstate ( I-20 for WD) from Clinton to Brandon at dark thirty. Zero issues...love hitting the "waterworks curve" when traffic is light and you can kinda zoom a tad bit. I get to the storage unit and Mailman picks me up in his newest purchase. A 1986 Mustang GT convertible (car is for sale.. $1500). No suspension, that donut in the steering is all but gone, muffler sounds like a pack of HD's... ahhh mailman you never fail.
So it back on I-20 and I-55 to Crystal Springs, to pick up the "other" latest car.. 2003 Mini Cooper. So where is the car? I ask. Its at Carols place... is his response...
Carols place... Carol is nothing to mailman, she is his sister's mother-in-law... but they are all pretty close and very down to earth. So this place... Carol inherited it.. just a year or so ago. How???? Well the owner was her ??? sister??? something. What-ever.. her son murdered her and cut her up and buried her in the backyard. He then died ( OD, suicide.. don't remember) in the living room. Yeah.. that's where the mini cooper is. Sh!t..... Mailmans niece and the spitting image of her mother ( scary cute) is living there... Really???
So we arrive, in the rag-top unsteerable stang. Cooper all nice and tucked in, when mailman remembers.. "crap.. I forgot to bring a battery"..

And that's when we heard the first blood curdling female scream....
we both froze and listened... and more pitiful scream.. I said" Man that's your neice in there you better go check!" .. to which he replies.. aint never been in that house .. I aint going in now!"  DUDE!!!! Mailman walks over  the kitchen window to peek in.. and which we hear a female giggle... and then just female chatter... wtf???
finally I use mailmans phone to text his niece that we are here to get the mini..
Out comes his cute as a button 20yo neice in her shorts...
"we heard screams" I say... oh yeah.. I am giving my best friend a wax..

We take the battery from the stang.. jump the mini, put the battery back in the stang.. and head home...
The ride from Brandon back home is about 40 minutes.. I get in about 11:30... I am still laughing. Ahhh indeed mailman is always good for an adventure! ( and so is my zuki)

Trust me.. its get surreal with mailman...

I only had 15 minutes to type all that ( had a meeting to go to)...

First I knew mailmans sister from when she was like 7... she was a brat then... and never grew out of it. Her daughter is just like her.. looks just like her...
So while mailman and I are working to get the cars going ... heres little miss hovering about and saying how she is losing her job and is putting in an application at this new restaurant:
