New Regulator

Ok, had to sell a painting outta my portfolio but now I have enough coin to get a few things. at the moment the most important of those things is a new regulator. versy was gracious enough to let me borrow his but I need to get my own and give his back.
Where's a good place to buy a new regulator?

You really only have 3 choices when it come to getting parts:

Your local dealer.
An online dealer.
eBay.

A used one from a reputable salvage place might be your cheapest bet....most Savage salvage parts are from collisions and except for the front wheel and forks....everything is fine.

okay cool I'll check it out. you think they would be better than ordering a $25 regulator from Shanghai? I don't know if you guys have had problems ordering stuff from overseas but I've ordered from Shanghai a couple of times and it just takes a long time to get here. they also offer a complete refund ifin you're not happy with it.

I got a drill bit that way once.....it was pretty crappy.

I got an LED tal light....and it was just fine.

If the part is OEM.....it should be just like the original.  If the thing is aftermarket.....I would not trust it.
