Looking for opinions on these foot pegs
06/18/13 at 13:06:24

I've been looking for some replacement foot pegs since I recently mucked one of them up.   Embarrassed  I gave eBay a look, and I found these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLVD-S40-SAVAGE-CHROME-SPLIT-RUBBER-FOOT-PEG-SET-FR-R...

Has anybody here tried them?  I wasn't looking for a full set, and I'm not a fan of the price tag.  Just curious if anybody has had any experience with these pegs.

I found a used set of them just like the ones on the right and they bolted right up to the stock controls (& extended controls) but I did use some minor hardware from Lowe's.

I think I paid $15-$20 for the set of 4 that I found on eBay.

Here's how mine turned out.

If you're looking for opinions we have those in ready supply!

I haven't tried those pegs myself, but they do look very nice.

I didn't say that my opinion would be helpful...

They were an upgrade from these... that the PO had installed, so to me the new ones feel about 1,000 times better  Grin

You should be able to find some used ones for not too much, but if I were buying them again, I would be willing to pay up to about $60 for the front set alone.

old pegs...

I'm looking for the forward set. I'd be very interested if you have a set.  You mean you have a spare set of stock ones, right?

Wont fold when dragging thru a curve? Nope..

True enough, JOG.  With the curved corners, I thought perhaps these folded a bit. Either way, the stock pegs are just fine.
