You go to your dealer or order one online.
You cut the old one off, then use a bit of silicone spray and push the new one on.

There are lots of ways.....but somehow I get the feeling you don't have a machine shop at home.
You could cut off the existing peg, drill a hole where the current peg is, weld or thread in a longer peg, use rubber tubing in place of the factory rubber piece.
You miight think hard about making it longer as you then need to move your toe out farther to change your toe position for upshift/downshift. If you have trouble reaching the peg....maybe your shifter is bent?

Makin metal stuff longer is easy. Makin wooden stuff longer,, ehhh,, NO,, Not really very easy. Cutting & welding & shaping, these things make metal a great material.
