Question is will a 140/90/15 rear fit with stock rear fender. Nobody has the 140/80 in town here. But they have the 140/90. Thanks

I replaced it with a Metzler 880 and have since put about 16,000 on the Metzler and still have plenty of tread left. I also did not have any problems with fender bolts rubbing on the 140/90 tire. It seems to be 50/50 chance on if the bolts will rub or not.

I have to watch my lean on turns with the Stock tires or I'll go into a slide, but there are comparable other makes that will fit if you look.

I did have to remove saddlebag supports as well as find a smaller or more profile bolt on the right side. Best regards.

It was scary. Felt like it was gonna dump me in corners. That gave me 5,000 miles of riding carefully.. I learned the feel of slipping on asphalt. Much as I cussed that tire, I think it helped me, as a rider.

Ordered a Shinko yesterday. Cant wait to get it, I'm to scared to ride it until I get a new one on it...lol

So one would assume it is the OEM tire. Just cant wait to get the new one on so I can start riding the darn thing...
