There have been a few minor changes over the years.  But, most everything will fit from one to another.

Always a good idea to check on here and make sure.  I think there's a tech post detailing the differences between the years. I read it on here somewhere.  I think it was in tech.

I have a nice sounding straight pipe on it now  but i cant get it inspected without a muffler. i dont want to do anything to this straight pipe so i only need a pipe and muffler bolted on for an hour or so ...till i get it inspected and put the straight pipe back on   ...and ill have to do this every year to be able to get inspection ... what a pain  Roll Eyes

Get a harley take-off with full baffles.  You'll have a muffler.  Gives it a nice tone. And, best of all, cheap.

The only thing about this straight pipe is .its wrapped and Its curved outward ...and the curved outlet is larger than the standard exhaust outlet ... if it was just straight out the back i could use a slip on ...but with this one  ..i cant

Then how about gettin a header made out of some cheap exhaust pipe & slammin a cheapo muffler on & putting it on once a year? Unless you can look around & get an exhaust off one. Surely someone is parting one out,,Seems like that'd be the cheapest way,
PIck a year, any year,,
