Does look like theyd just slip right on in there AND that rigid center would make "working" them back & forth, feeling the drag a lot easier than a Z shape bent in a ribbon..

yeh the motion pro feelers are cool - but really the price! They should get together with the suzuki spark plug/valve access designers and all smoke something.
Anyway I'm gonna have a go at making one of those motion pro things as I want two of them. Been racking my brain to think of something easily available and ready made that i can use as the holding stick thing. Might try a couple of tongue depressors
or meccano?
Whats the motion pro holder made from?
If i can get the right size stick thingy I figure i can just pop rivet the feeler gauge at each end and done. Probably take unexpected hours of focking around but what else have I go to do...

The middle span of the Motion Pro feeler gauges is made from steel bar stock.

If a fella was gonna try to make hizzown the stuff that could go in th middle is just about unlimited;. Be harder gettin a clean hole in the feeler gauge than finding something good to rivet it to,

This is what I ended up with for a little valve tool kit.
Feeler strips stuck to alloy strips with double sided foam tape, 90 screwdriver cut in half, off-set wrench.
Blue masking tape is just so I could write the thickness on them.
Suzuki didn't make it easy!
