Ive seen pics of a Huge bike from back in the 60's, dang thing was 12 or so feet long, maybe more. Some bike rag did an article on it,

I don't know Dave.....I think it looks safer than a Gold Wing.  And a whole lot nicer!

It may still exist, it was buried not long after it was built, it was exhumed in 1938 and apparently was in a museum in 1948, it did have retractable auxiliary skids or wheels for parking purposes but solely relied on two wheels for road use.

Were they doing those "lock the front brake burnouts back then?"

That mentality escapes me.  I am not sure why holding a front brake on and the throttle wide open.....while the engine bounces off the rev limiter.....is any kind of display of riding ability.

I'm not sure if it had front brakes, most vehicles prior to 1927 didn't.
